Switchboard — Live Captions for Phone Calls
An AI switchboard operator: the caller dials a normal number, you read live captions and type back, they hear you in a real voice.
Walkthrough
The work in one paragraph
Phone calls are the last critical infrastructure that assumes you can hear. Switchboard answers a real Vonage number, captions the caller in your browser and speaks what you type back to them — no relay operator, no business hours. Caption confidence is shown, not hidden: a close call between “Tuesday” and “Thursday” is flagged with both alternatives. One Cloudflare Worker, one Durable Object, modes as files. The demo runs the full pipeline with the phone swapped for buttons — try it, no phone needed.
